Dear Friends,

Whenever we visit any Doctor for any sickness. The normal question asked, are you suffering  from B.P. sugar and cholesterol etc. Some times a person may fully fit and has no problem, but declared unfit because of blood pressure said to be the silent killer. I am 81+, about 20yrs back I went to a Doctors for medical check up. Every thing was fit and fine but because of the blood pressure which was 210/85. I was asked to go to a room for immediate  rest and for ECG. Though every thing was fine and I had no problem but because of the BP I became a patient of high BP, and regular medicine started. I took the medicine for few years regularly and for few years occasionally, but now for more than  a year I have left the medicine completely. The BP is generally 170,180,190  /70...90 . I have no problem at all. I can do any hard work which is expected at this age, such as long walking 8 to 9 km, even running about 100M and no problem but I am patient of high BP.

With the above back ground I tried to look in the History of blood pressure and gathered some material as attached. We all are approaching to 80yrs of age and may have some experience and opinion about it. By changing the norms of BP overnight a large population becomes the patient of BP or free from BP.

DO WE NEED TO REDEFINE AND REASES THE ROLL OF THE BLOOD PRESSURE IN OUR LIFE.
