[www.keralites.net] Banana

Bananas contain three types of sugars: fructose, sucrose and glucose, and fiber, and it is this combination that will make you feel full longer.

Studies have shown that just two bananas a day are enough for a 90 – minute workout. However, energy is not the only good part of this wonderful fruit.

Depression

Judging by the results of the recent survey conducted among people who suffer from some form of depression, bananas can be used as a medicine. This is credited to the protein tryptophan, which the body converts into serotonin, which is still known as the hormone of happiness and contentment. Therefore, next time you are tormented by PMS syndrome, forget the painkillers and opt for this fantastic fruit.

Anemia

Given the fact that they are full in iron, bananas affect the formation of hemoglobin in the blood and so help in cases of anemia.

Blood pressure

This fruit is very good because it contains very little salt, but large amounts of potassium, which is important for the regulation of blood pressure. If you regularly eat bananas, you will reduce your chances of getting a stroke.

Brain

Indeed, bananas have a positive impact on the brain, and one study showed that students, who eat a banana in the morning, have better concentration throughout the day.

Constipation

Because they are packed with fiber, bananas help to quickly overcome the problem of constipation, without the use of laxatives.

Hangover

You had a stormy night? No worries, a high – speed banana milkshake will free you from the headache. If you add a teaspoon of acacia honey, it will afflict the stomach, and will complement the needs of sugar.

Morning sickness

The banana will help to reduce or even completely eliminate morning sickness, if you choose to eat a banana for a snack.

Mosquito bites

To reduce swelling at the bite of a mosquito or similar insect, rub the sting area with the inner side of the peel.

Nerves

Bananas are rich in vitamin B which helps to calm the entire nervous system. If you have a stressful job, choose this fruit to be your snack.

Intestines

This magical fruit because of its soft composition is used as a dietary food against intestinal disorders.

Regulate temperature

Pregnant women in Thailand regularly consume bananas as their babies would be "cool enough" when they are born.

Compared with apples, bananas contain four times the protein, twice the carbohydrate, three times the phosphorus, five times the vitamin A and iron.

You may now need to change the saying and say that   "one banana a day keeps the doctor away.

[www.keralites.net] The Cutest Squirrel Photo Session Ever!

The Cutest Squirrel Photo Session Ever

Talented Russian nature photographer Vadim Trunov has had close encounters with squirrels before, but this is the first time we've seen his photos of squirrels playing or shooting photos of each other! The photographer recently published some photos he's captured of squirrels that seem to be building snowmen or playing volleyball with nuts.
The truth is a bit different, however – it's winter, these squirrels are hungry, and they want food! In fact, the ones with the pine cone and the nut are fighting over the winter food, which Trunov left in a clearing so he could photograph the squirrels.
